THE WHY
Cross Collaboration
Using stakeholders from all three sectors, our team will implement this seminar project to build skill sets for teachers and administration to impact the lives of marginalized students. Utilizing the different resources, values, and skills of each sector will be essential in this program’s success. Inequitable education services is a significant and complex problem and will require the collaboration of all three sectors. That is why we have chosen the different organizations and businesses below that we believe will best help us with our mission.
Public: US Dept. of Education, Arizona Dept. of Education- provide data to outline important topics for seminar dates
Private: Civitas Learning, Pearson, Teachers Pay Teachers- providing resources to classrooms and teachers to implement strategies in the classroom
Nonprofit: Association for Curriculum and Classroom Structure, American Federation of Teachers- advocating for teachers within the seminars
